When in Venice a few years ago I bought a superbly detailed lampwork paperweight, it is of a bird sat on a branch with leaves and red berries. There is a piece of paper stuck on the back on this weight bearing the name Barbara Del Zoro.
Does anyone know anything about this artist please ?

You sort of got the 'the' wrapped around the URL.

It is a gorgeous little weight!
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

Thanks very much for your help Della - we wandered rond the back streets of Venice and found this little shop with a few PW's in the window. Went in and there was this metal racking loaded with round grey objects - paperweights covered in dust ! I picked one up, wiped it and found I was looking at Afternoon in an Indian Garden, one of the Hans Neerdhart weights so we bought a few including  a beautiful pice of cappo di monte encased in a large weight plus a gorgeious scrambled with rooster, flower and butterfly canes- our suitcase was much heavier on thenway home !
