Murano Uranium Sommerso Duck
« on: February 09, 2024, 02:02:49 PM »
This is a 20cm. tall duck. The uranium green is mainly in the back, running up the neck to the top of the head but mixes slightly into the clear glass of the breast. The applied base and beak are clear glass but take on a hint of green in places in natural light and appear to glow brightly under UV. I assume this effect is caused by the different optical/refractive qualities of the glass.
